What Journey Health Really Means

Completion alone is not health—recovery, stalls, and time-in-step tell a fuller story.

Many teams track funnel completion and call the path healthy when the rate looks stable. That misses loops, retries, and people who finish only after heavy support.

Journey health looks at whether each step is reachable, how long people linger, and whether abandoners return. A path can “complete” while still feeling broken.

Write health rules beside the numbers: which events mark a step, what counts as a stall, and how recovery is measured. If two analysts disagree, the definition is unfinished.
