Scope
This policy covers consulting engagements sold by Nodeenginebase Co., Ltd., including audits, cohort sessions, workshops, and retainers described on this site. It does not cover physical goods, software licenses, or subscription products, which we do not sell.
Deposits and invoices
Projects typically begin after a deposit or initial invoice stated in the proposal. Retainers are billed monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation by you
- Cancel 7 or more days before the first scheduled working session: full refund of fees paid for unused work, minus any non-recoverable third-party booking costs disclosed in writing.
- Cancel fewer than 7 days before the first session: deposit may be retained up to 40% of the engagement fee to cover reserved facilitation time.
- Cancel after work has started (document review, interviews, or drafts begun): fees for completed stages are due; unused future stages may be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a booked session once without charge if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Later notices or repeated moves may incur a rescheduling fee disclosed in the proposal.
No-shows
If key stakeholders do not attend a confirmed session without timely notice, that session is marked delivered for billing purposes. We will offer one makeup slot within 14 days when calendars allow.
Work already started and materials
Analysis, written briefs, and facilitation already performed are non-refundable. Pre-purchased research materials or room rentals ordered at your request are non-refundable once ordered.
Retainers
Monthly retainers may be cancelled with 14 days’ written notice before the next billing date. The then-current month is non-refundable once office hours or a brief have been used; otherwise unused months paid in advance are refundable.
Our cancellations
If we must cancel an engagement for reasons other than your breach, we will refund fees for undelivered work in full.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 14 business days of written approval. Bank processing times may add a few days.

Exceptions
A signed statement of work may set different commercial terms for a specific engagement; those terms prevail for that engagement.
