Refund Policy
Scope
This policy covers paid consulting engagements with Nodeenginebase: journey health audits, path instrumentation setup, readout reports, and watch retainers related to journey health monitoring. It does not cover third-party software licenses or products we do not sell. No payments are processed on this website.
Eligibility and timeframe
Refund requests must be sent in writing to hello@nodeenginebase.digital within 14 days of the invoice payment date, or before the scheduled audit workshop start—whichever comes first—unless a different window is stated in your statement of work.
Full refunds
A full refund may apply if we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control, or if you cancel a scheduled on-site or remote audit session at least 7 full days before the start date and no preparatory deliverables have been issued.
Partial refunds
If work has started—discovery calls held, journey maps drafted, event inventories reviewed—we may refund the unused portion after deducting fees for work already performed and non-recoverable preparation time, documented in writing.
Non-refundable items
- Completed readout reports once delivered
- Completed audit facilitation days already held
- Deposits marked as non-refundable in the proposal (typically 30% to reserve dates)
- Third-party costs you approved in writing (for example, venue fees you asked us to arrange)
Deposits
Date reservations for audits often require a deposit. Deposits become non-refundable inside 7 days of the start date, or earlier if stated in the proposal.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule an audit session once at no charge with at least 5 business days’ notice, subject to availability. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of up to 15% of the session fee. Retainers may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice; the current month is billed if notice falls after the monthly cycle begins.
No-shows
If key stakeholders do not attend a booked audit session without timely notice, the session is treated as delivered and is not refundable. We will discuss a paid make-up session if useful.
Work already started
For instrumentation setup and reports, hours and milestones completed before cancellation are payable. Unused prepaid amounts may be refunded or credited toward a future engagement at your option.
Purchased materials
Printed or specially prepared materials ordered at your request are non-refundable once purchased.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@nodeenginebase.digital with your invoice number and reason. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
Refund method
Bank transfer or the same channel used for payment. Currency matches the invoice unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptions
If a statement of work states different refund terms for a specific engagement, that document controls for that engagement only.
